Purpose

ASTP2/O pipes are intended for the production of pre-insulated pipes and for the construction of non-pressure pipelines (transporting water, water solutions, non-flammable liquids and suspensions), used in ground and underground mine excavations in non-methane and methane fields classified as grade "a", "b" or "c" of methane explosion hazard and class A or B of coal dust explosion hazard, in shafts and on the ground.

Casing pipes cannot be used for pressure transport.

Production range

• Diameter range: DN 90 - DN 710,
• Pipes produced in sections: from 150mm to 12000mm +/- 10mm.

At the customer's request, it is possible to make a pipeline section of any length.

Construction

ASTP2/O pipes are multilayer, antistatic, flame-retardant and non-toxic casing pipes made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE). These pipes are made by co-extrusion, which guarantees a monolithic structure.

These pipes consist of two layers: the main structural layer made of HDPE PE100 polyethylene and the external flame-retardant, antistatic and non-toxic HDPE PE100 layer.

At the customer's request, it is possible to manufacture a casing pipe consisting of three layers.

Casing pipes are manufactured with the following ends: bare ends for butt welding connections or with a socket for push-in socket connections (for the construction of non-pressure pipes).

• Properties

  • resistant to aggressive environments, high humidity and corrosion,
  • very high resistance to mechanical damage,
  • light weight (six times less than steel),
  • the pipeline does not require any anti-corrosion protection.
