ASTP2/P and ASTP3/P type antistatic, flame retardant and non-toxic pre-insulated pipes and fittings are intended for use in underground mine excavations in methane and non-methane fields classified as "a", "b" or "c" degrees of methane explosion hazard and I, II, III and IV categories of methane hazard (methane bearing capacity) and class A or B of coal explosion hazard, also in shafts.
In addition, they can be used in surface mining installations.
It is possible to make a section of the pipeline of any length, with a different nominal pressure within the above ranges and other pipe length tolerance as agreed between the manufacturer and the customer.
The basic elements of pre-insulated pipelines are HDPE line pipes, HDPE casing pipes and thermal insulation made of PUR foam.
Pipes and line fittings are ASTP2/W and ASTP3/G pipes made of high-density polyethylene, HDPE, (by extrusion) and consist of two or three basic layers. The layers in ASTP2/W and ASTP3/G line pipes and PE fittings are molecularly connected with each other, which does not allow for their mechanical separation and guarantees a monolithic structure.
Thermal insulation is made of PUREX WG 1931 type flame-retardant PUR polyurethane foam, resistant to high temperature, flame-retardant with a flammability category V0. The PUREX WG 1931 foam was covered by the Certificate No. B/2611/II/2020 of February 28th 2020, which authorized the product to be marked with the safety mark "B".
ASTP2/O type HDPE casing pipes are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) by extrusion and consist of two layers. The main construction layer is made of HDPE PE 100 polyethylene and the outer, flame-retardant, antistatic and non-toxic HDPE PE 100 layer. At the customer's request, it is possible to make a casing pipe consisting of three layers - the main layer made of HDPE PE 100 polyethylene and a flame-retardant and antistatic outer and inner HDPE PE 100 layers.
The construction of the pipe set prevents the foam from coming into contact with the mine atmosphere (by tightly closing it), which guarantees a long service life.
Pre-insulated pipes and fittings can be produced in bare and flanged versions.
